IPO AT AN IMPORTANT MEETING IN ALBANIA

In the framework of the Partnership Platform for European Integration of Albania for Chapter 24, the Ministry of Interior, under the leadership of Mr. Besfort Lamallari, Deputy Minister of Interior, Negotiator and Chairman of GNPIE for Chapter 24 "Justice, Freedom, and Security", on February 8, 2023, held the next meeting on the topic: The fight against Cybercrime in Albania - New challenges within the Integration Process.

Our organization, as a representative of civil society, expressed interest in the Partnership Roundtable for this Chapter and participated in this meeting, sharing together the expertise in this field, within the framework of our common obligations in the European integration process.

At this meeting, our organization was represented by the Executive President of IPO Dr. Tomori Mareglen together with the representative colleagues of IPO Section Albania Mrs. Valbona Gjoka and Mrs. Josiba Osmani.

The continuous contribution of IPO to civil society to share the experience of our experts with relevant institutions in the common interest and for the benefit of the community, is one of the primary objectives on which we are giving the maximum possible to achieve the goals defined in our program.

Obtaining the special consultative status ECOSOC at the United Nations last year, makes the IPO more committed to contributing to civil society, but it also charges us with responsibilities that we must face with seriousness and professionalism.
