IPO EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT AT THE GPEC FRANKFURT
During this week from May 31 to June 2, at the invitation of the organizers, the IPO Executive President Dr. Tomori Mareglen participated in the GPEC General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference in Messe Frankfurt Germany.
The 12th International Exhibition and Conferences on Internal Security, Law Enforcement and Homeland Protection is an activity organized every year by the German company EMW Exhibition & Media Wehrstedt GmbH where its president is Mr. Uwe Wehrstedt who since December of last year also holds the post of Leader of IPO Section Germany.
Since the inauguration event in 2000 GPEC has developed to be Europe’s biggest closed specialized trade fair for Police and security authorities.
The event is regularly held under the patronage of the Federal Minister of the Interior.
GPEC comprises all subject and equipment areas of law enforcement, public and homeland security, serves as One Stop Shop with regards to save resources with authorities and is in constant exchange about current requirements.
A framework programme including conferences, official working group meetings and practical trainings makes GPEC again and again to be an indispensable branch forum. Also in its 12th edition as specialized trade fair exclusively for members of authorities GPEC provides again the confidential framework for the exchange with top leadership personnel, procurers, technicians, and end-users on Federal and Länder level, from Germany and all over the world.
In this prestigious event also took part IPO members from Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Germany, where was formalized the partnership between IPO and the company EMW Exhibition & Media Wehrstedt GmbH with the signature of the IPO Executive President Dr. Tomori Mareglen and EMW President Mr. Uwe Wehrstedt.
Taking advantage of this case, Dr. Tomori presented to Mr. Wehrstedt the official certificate of the Leader of IPO Section Germany and to Mr. Peter Meyer as the Secretary General of this section.
In this activity, Dr. Tomori was accompanied by his colleague Mr. Naim Krasniqi
who holds the position of Coordinator of IPO Section Austria and since last year is doing an excellent job for the development of this section.
Activities of this level not only increase the seriousness and strengthen the relationship of our organization with law enforcement and government bodies, but also give the opportunity to members and leaders of the IPO from different sections to meet with each other and share experiences for the development of the IPO sections in their countries.
