IPO HQ GENERAL DIRECTOR AT TV INFORMER

General Director of IPO HQ & IPO LED, President of IPO Serbia Mrs. Sanela Nikolic, spoked for the newspapers portal and presented work of our organization.

In the interview, she explained that IPO is non governmental organization dedicated to educate citizens about negative phenomena in society such as peer violence, narcotics, violence against womens ecc. 

She was also speaking about activities in our sections from all over the world, various lectures and workshops, which have been successfully completed in the last few months, as well as about future plans and projects, on which the IPO is working intensively. She pointed out that the most important thing is cooperation with other non-governmental organizations and state institutions, in order to implement projects together, with the aim of protecting citizens and preventing criminal acts.

Here, she singled out the newly signed cooperation with state institutions in Albania, but also in other countries where negotiations are ongoing.

Given the fact that Mrs. Nikolic, is also a Police Officer of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, the journalist concluded that she is one of the womens, who break prejudices about the work of womens in so-called "men's jobs" and high positions and asked about it. 

"When you are professional, expert, and correct in your work and with your collaborators, there is no problem. I have a luck, that my colleagues respect my role in this work. ", said Mrs. Nikolic.

Mrs. Nikolic a few years ago held the role of IPO Coordination Inspector then that of the Coordination Director of IPO HQ for more than 1 year where she developed IPO activity in many Sections in Europe coordinating the work between them and IPO Headquarters. She also made a great contribution to the IPO Education and Crime Prevention Department where she organized and developed every month free webinars and courses for IPO Members worldwide.

At the meeting of the Executive Council of IPO HQ on June 10-12, 2022, where the first IPO congress took place, with the proposal of the IPO Founder and Honorary President Ass. Prof. Dr. Ilija Zivotic, IPO HQ Executive Board under the direction of Executive President Dr. Tomori Mareglen, decided to appoint Mrs. Nikolic, General Director of IPO HQ, also was decided to create the IPO LED Law Enforcement Department which will also be directed by Mrs. Nikolic. Her task is to lead the LED and IPO HQ following the instructions of the IPO HQ Executive Board and to execute its decisions and guidelines at the international level.

Last month, the IPO Founder and Honorary President as well as the President of IPO Serbia Ass. Prof. Dr. Ilija Zivotic decided to pass the baton to Mrs. Nikolic giving her the appointment of President of IPO Serbia. Her appointment as President of the Section Serbia marks the first time in the history of the IPO that a Section is headed by a woman and a Police Officer at the once.

IPO Headquarters as well as all other Sections have evaluated always the work of Mrs. Nikolic as she has worked with dedication and professionalism, proving that every title and appointment of hers in the IPO has been deserved.
